The Physics of Baseball provides the reader with a scientific look at the game of baseball. This book provides the reader with a better understanding of how various aspects of the game of baseball work, and it will undoubtedly make you a better baseball handicapper.

At first glance this book may seem like it has little value to the baseball handicapper. It's small at approximately 169 pages, and it looks like it's too technical to be of much value to the bettor. The Physics of Baseball, however, covers key topics the baseball handicapper must understand.

One such topic covers the flight of a baseball. Understanding how things such as air resistance and wind will give the baseball handicapper a better understanding as to how the ball might react when playing in a given stadium with the day's weather report.

The Physics of Baseball also covers another key topic: pitching. Better understand how the weather and other various components affect the pitching in a baseball game. Conversely the book also covers batting. Gain a better understand as to what factors influence balls to fly further than normal.

At a price of ~$10.00, The Physics of Baseball is a solid investment for anyone looking to better understand the game of baseball.

I give this book a three out of five on the Benjamin scale.
